As a member of our camp staff, you'll not only inspire and lead campers in their summer adventures but, you will also have the chance to explore these unique camp locations yourself. Our team stays in rustic cabins, lodges, and yurts, providing an authentic camping experience. Dates of Employment: May 27, 2025 – August 18, 2025
Under the direct supervision of the Resident Camp Director, the Assistant Camp Director assists in directing and coordinating the implementation of Girl Scout Summer Camp. This position assists with ongoing staff development, supervision, and evaluation of Counselors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Assist in the administration and management of camp’s day to day operation
· Assist Camp Directors in staff assignments for activities, cabins, and daily duties
· Promote high standards for leadership, program activities, and health and safety
· Transport groups to off-site field trips
· Fill in as a unit counselor, as needed
Experience/Education
· High School diploma or the equivalent; minimum of (1) season of outdoor programming and camp administrative experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
· Minimum of 21 years of age in the 2025 calendar year and ability to transport campers in a 12 passenger van required
