Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
- PhD in Modern Languages, Spanish, or related field
- Appropriate background in the needed area(s) of specialization
- Ability and interest in undergraduate teaching
- Experience with and commitment to working with diverse student populations
- Ability and willingness to develop and teach sections/courses within multiple modalities
- Ability and willingness to lead students on study abroad trips as part of their language learning
- Experience or willingness to teach undergraduate students
- Familiarity with D2L or a similar online course management system
- Experience teaching in hybrid, Hyflex, and/or online
- Experience with program assessment
