DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Providing customer service in person, over the phone, and through email.
  • Dispatching University Police Officers 
  • Logging daily activity 
  • General office management
  • Cash handling and reconciliation of cash and check transactions
  • Coordinating physical upkeep of office equipment 
  • Processing fingerprint appointment fees 
  • Maintenance and retrieval of police records 
  • Process all business transactions pertinent to the University Police Department 
  • Assist with maintaining the University Police Department’s fleet of patrol vehicles
  • Managing the University’s lost and found
  • Supports the Clery Compliance Program Specialist with various Clery Act compliance
  • Records management duties for various University Police Department records
  • Other duties as assigned 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to sit, stand, and walk (outside and in the office). Ability to occasionally lift various weights (less than 50 pounds).
 
Experience Required:
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Applications
Education Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
